The Steamboat Ski Touring Center has 15km of groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails for all ability levels, winding through the aspen groves and along beautiful Fish Creek, offering some of the most enjoyable and accessible wintertime recreation in the Yampa Valley.

Hours

The Steamboat Ski Touring Center is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm and has a full service cross-country ski rental and retail ski shop. Snowshoe rentals also available.

Location

From Highway 40, exit Mt. Werner road and go towards Steamboat Ski Area. Turn left onto Steamboat Blvd, then a right onto Clubhouse Drive and follow the Steamboat Ski Touring Center signs. We offer complimentary shuttle service from the Gondola Transit Center with pick-ups at 9:15am and 12:30pm, returning at 12:40pm and 4:15pm. Please call for a shuttle reservation (970) 879-8180.

Basic Package

The basic cross-country ski rental package includes skis from Fischer, boots and bindings from Salomon, and Exel poles. All sizes available.

High Performance Package

The high performance cross-country ski rental package features demo skis from Fischer, Rossignol, and Madshus, and Salomon boots and bindings. Skate and classic skis available.

Group Lesson

The one-hour group lesson will teach you the most efficient techniques for cross-country skiing on all types of terrain and/or improve on your skills. All ability levels welcome.

Private Lesson

The one-hour private lesson will allow you to work on your skills one-on-one with an instructor.

Skate Lesson

Try nordic skate skiing or improve your skills with the one hour group skating lesson.  All ability levels welcome. 

Classic Cross Country skiing is recommended for beginners.
