If you are looking for a mountain get-away without the flashiness - then Wolf Creek is the place for you. Although, there are a few things that can keep you entertained if you don't feel like hitting the slopes.
Snowmobile Tours
Wolf Creek offers 1-3 hour snowmobile tours around the mountain near the Wolf Creek ski area. They have a variety of exciting, adventurous tours if you are feeling dareful, and more relaxed, cruising tours that are good for the whole family.
Pasagosa Springs
While in the Wolf Creek/Pasagosa Springs area you might as well unwind after a long day at the slopes in the Pasagosa Springs hot mineral pools. The Springs Resort on the San Juan River has 17 different pools as well as a lap pool overlooking the river.
You could also pamper yourself and head to Healing Waters Resort and Spa where you can get a massage, herbal body wrap, or enjoy the water with the Agua Fit classes for those with mobility concerns. There are both indoor and outdoor springs heated by the mineral water.

South Fork
For evening dining and nightlife, you will have to make your way over to South Fork, since Wolf Creek is a day-time only resort. You can find restaurants and bars, but like Wolf Creek, it is very low-key so you may need to repeat some dining experiences.
Shopping
Pasagosa Springs has a small amount of gift and other specialty shops to browse. While South Fork has a range of ski and snowboard equipment stores as well as grocery stores located in both Pasagosa Springs and South Fork.
Tubing
High Country Tubing Park in Pagosa Springs, a few miles east on highway 160, offers 2 hour tubing time for ages 4 and up, children 3 years and younger are free with a paying adult. High Country tubing park located at 3821 East Highway 160 on the way to Wolf Creek.
Ice Fishing
Pagosa Country offers great winter ice and fly fishing. Just get the required supplies and licenses. You can find these at the Outfitter Department Store, Ski and Bow Rack, and Goodman's Department Store.
