historic Howelsen Hill in downtown Steamboat Springs
for the ride of a lifetime! Ride the Magic Carpet to
the top and come screaming down on a snow tube
provided at the hill. There is a special lane for
those who wish for a slower ride. This is a must-do
experience for all ages. Children must be at least
36" tall. Helmets are recommended.
Children must ride in their own
tube, no kids on laps are permitted.
Located just steps from Lincoln
Avenue in Downtown Steamboat Springs. Walk
across the bridge at 9th Street or drive across the
Yampa River at 5th Street and turn right on Howelsen
Parkway.
Snow Tubing will operate, weather and snow
conditions permitting, 4:30, 5:30 & 6:30pm Daily Dec
& March. Tuesday-Sunday, Jan & Feb. Closed Mondays
except on Monday, Jan 16th and Feb 20th. Closed Feb
3rd & 4th for Winter Carnival Events. Sessions will
be added during the holiday periods.
